UX Research and Tech Consultancy
Applied psychology for startups and product teams. UX research, founder consulting, and human-tech advisory drawing on twenty years of psychological research.
Alongside clinical practice, I work with startups and digital product teams as a UX researcher and consultant. Psychology and product are closer than they look. The questions are the same: what does this person actually need, how do they make decisions under uncertainty, what gets in their way.
What I do for tech companies
- UX research. Qualitative and quantitative studies for founders, product managers, and UX teams. Multi-market international environments.
- Founder and team advisory. Applied psychology for product decisions, user understanding, hiring, and team dynamics.
- Employee mental health. Advising tech companies on supporting employees through high-pressure work, particularly in AI and fast-paced startups.
- Product reviews from a psychological perspective. Especially relevant for products in mental health, wellbeing, and AI-human interaction.
Background
I have worked as a freelance UX researcher with startups and digital services since 2020, including in-house UX research at an AI-focused B2B2C startup. My research toolkit is grounded in twenty years of academic work in human memory, attachment, and neuroscience, with formal training in observational, quantitative, and case-study methods.
