Who is the controller

Dr Shani Waidergoren is the data controller for this website. Contact: shani.waidergoren@gmail.com.

What this site collects

This site collects the information you choose to send through the contact form: your name, your email address, and the optional message you write. That is the only personal data the website itself collects.

Anonymous, cookieless analytics (visit counts and country-level location) are collected via Cloudflare to understand site traffic. No personally identifying information is stored in analytics.

If you make a purchase, the checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects the information needed to process the payment and is the controller for that data. See Stripe's own privacy notice for details.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is collected on the basis of your consent and used only to send you the newsletter. Subscription requires confirming your address by email (double opt-in), so no one can be added to the list without their knowledge. The list is managed by Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), which processes subscriber data on my behalf. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also ask me at any time to remove your address entirely. Your address is never sold or shared for any other purpose.

What this site does not collect

This website does not store clinical information, intake forms, or any health data. If you become a client, separate clinical records are kept securely outside this website and governed by my professional and HCPC obligations.

Please do not send clinical information or sensitive personal information through the contact form. A general "I would like to arrange a consultation" message is enough.

How long the data is kept

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to reply to your enquiry, and routinely deleted within 12 months unless the enquiry has led to ongoing correspondence.

Who sees the data

Only Dr Shani Waidergoren has access to enquiries sent through this site. Form submissions are processed by Formspree (a form provider) and delivered to her email. Stripe processes purchases. No data is sold or shared for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the information held about you. To exercise any of these rights, email shani.waidergoren@gmail.com.

Complaints

If you believe your data has not been handled appropriately you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
